WordCamp Baltimore has always been a favorite one of mine. I was thrilled to be a speaker this year, covering an important subject for people who build custom CMS solutions. Here’s a recap.

I met Liam Dempsey and Tara Claeys at different times and different WordCamps. Both are active volunteers in the WordPress community and a connector of people. So it was no surprise to find out they had teamed up to do a WordPress-focused podcast known as Hallway Chats. Liam and Tara were kind enough to have me on as a guest.

WordCamp Baltimore is one of my favorite WordCamps. This year, I spoke on setting up a WordPress site and building traffic through integrating social, email and community to reach your intended audience. Here’s the video of my talk.

I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be speaking at the inaugural WordCamp DC next month (July 14-16, 2017). I’ll be sharing my talk, “Building Traffic with Passion, Social Media & Engagement”. This is one I’ve given over the years, and is mostly the story of No Treble and WordPress’s role.
